About the space
The Textile Hunters Studio is part of artist and activist collective 'Dokhuis'. Dokhuis is a legalized squat where artists, activists and crafts(wo)men work and live together. Every thursday night there is a delicious vegan dinner served in the café and around the week all sorts of activities take place in the main hall. Amongst these activities are concerts, performances, tango salon and organic- food collective Vokomokum.
At the end of the hallway of the ground floor you will find the Textile Hunters studio. The studio is a warm, spacious but cosy place functioning as an atelier and as a space for small events. The space is open to initiatives that are concretely focussed on, and have the effect of expanding consciousness by means of uplifting, empowering, expression, meditation and reflection.
Renting the studio for a course, workshop, training or small event is possible when it shares the vision and the goal of the studio. If your event is too big or the space is just not available then - if you like - I will forward you to 'de Dokzaal'.
The studio space is 40m2. there are stools, chairs, cushions, mats, rugs, sheepskins and tables available for use.
There is a small kitchen and a fridge.
Using the hammocks is possible in consultation.
